I have been watching Pitt basketball since 1987. But really started following closely during the BK years. There is something about this team that is like those BK and Levance teams. Where they scrap and won’t lose. I gotta give Capel his due. He has built a culture and done a great job assembling the right personalities.
I think we have a legit shot tonight. We need Blake to score 25 which he will do. Fede with some help doubling when needed to minimize Bacot impact. And our defensive rotations to be on point to help with RJ. Then one other guard to go off which always seems to happen in these last three weeks. Of course a lot to ask but we can do it.
I think this team embodies We All We Got. Our defense, effort, and attitude will be there. I think we have a good shot of pulling this upset off and getting in. LFG Pitt!!!
