Everyone on this board expects them to lose, everyone expected Pitt to win yesterday.

Have to beat one of the best to make up for their sins today, only chance they have at somehow pulling 6-6 out of their asses.

I guess the Icy White uni's were describing the offense and punting yesterday.

Maybe quite with the smoke and mirrors with uniforms and focus on the product on the field Pitt.

Maybe thanks to the weirdness of college football there is the slimmest of chances one could happen (see UVA over UNC last night). But I’d be shocked if they didn’t lose both and will probably get destroyed in at least one.

IMO even last after last week’s win I thought it was very far fetched for this team to win even 5 games, let alone 6. The VT loss was where I lose any hopes for a bowl. Thinking 4-8 at best, at this point.

We have no chance to beat either team with this risk avoidance play not to lose offense. We would have to score 30 plus in each game and our defense would have to play solidly without stupid penalties or giving up big scoring plays.

No chance. I said last week that the Louisville win was based on the stupidity of them not running the ball more and non-repeatable luck... but I forgot just how bad we are. Cincinnati has not won a game since they beat us. West Virginia sucks. Virginia Tech dragged (McMilloned?) us up and down the field. But yesterday was the worst of them all. Even if we would have won 17-14, it would have been a pretty awful outing. But to actually lose to a team that had a QB/O-line situation so bad it was content just conceding downs and punting back and forth to each other? We're a bottom three team in all of the P5, and I don't say that lightly.

This isn't going to be your 2016 Clemson game. People conveniently forget when it turns out more like 2020 Notre Dame and Clemson. We're not immune to that.

The better question is can Pitt stay within 20 of either ND or FSU. We're going to lose both and we're going to lose a lot more than those 2 games the rest of the year. If we win another game with this coach and players, I'd be very surprised. And if that's the case, heads need to roll including the head coaches empty one and players need to have their scholarships pulled while we get some new players in here.

It's professional football now. They need to grow up and be held accountable.

It’s probably for the best that we don’t go to a bowl game for all of our sakes. This team is awful to watch.

If Pitt goes on a run and finishes 6-6 they’ll say it was because it took time for Veilleux to adjust and not make any major changes because they finished strong.

Here is my prediction. Against ND and FSU

Cignetti will keep going to that out pass that CV ran at least a dozen times.

Only the DB's will jump the route, to the house and the rout will be on.

No....this team is NOT as bad as Majors 2.

But against both ND and FSU it is going to be very reminiscent of 72-0....
