He was arrested again. Domestic assault involving his brother and mother. One was stabbed.
Yep. He had a terrible upbringing but he's had chance after chance to try and get right. He's probably gotten off light.
He shot his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach for gods sake. He did jail time for that but not enough - and that's not just hindsight.
he got arrested a few months ago at a bar. was telling everyone in bar he'd fight them for money and eventually went outside and punched an old lady in the face.. Didn't he shoot his girlfriend in the face in the 90s?

former lightweight champion boxer from McKees Rocks.. Once nicknamed "The PIttsburgh Kid." Dude has some serious alcohol and drug problems, gets arrested every other year..
In his defense, his arrests are very interesting stories. I mean anyone can get a dui but this guy gets arrested beating up old ladies in the middle of the day, shooting girlfriend in face and now stabbing his brother. If you are gonna go down, go down in flames..

He was very very good. Just short of elite but could be a nightmare matchup. Very hard to hit. Lacked power but a very highly skilled fighter.

You know those countries were they lead a criminal to empty, tiled chamber with a drain in it, and say "don't turn around" then caps him in the head? Really, that would be the best thing for all parties if that how Spaddy is handled.

I know some idiot that stupidly tangled/started some crap with an old sparring partner of his not that long ago. Dam near got killed. Idiot probably deserves a slap but the dude went a bit overboard.
He and his crew, past and present, are some bad folks to put it mildly.

He had a bad/ no upbringing..
He once sparred Mayweather and got the better of him. Floyd ducked him for a while because of it. I believe you can still find it on YouTube. Drugs and alcohol killed his career.
Yes they had a sparring session back in the day, but the talk of Mayweather ever "ducking" him is just an urban legend which has been debunked many times in the past.
If he wasn't at the very top he was close. He was a guy a lot of boxers didn't want anything to do with. Like I said above he was hard as hell to hit. Pretty good counter puncher. Could make good boxers look stupid.
If he'd have had any power it's a very good possibility he could have held a belt. And I'm sure his life choices held him back a tad or 2 as well.
Ha hasn't been relevant nationally for years. But he was relevant at one point. Very much so.
He had a fight or 2 within the last 2-3 years. I guess he was trying to come back but it didn't go anywhere.
