Was talking to someone in the AD yesterday at Fan Fest who said Pitt negotiated 4 practices at Heinz Field...was only 1 practice a preseason for the past 17 seasons. Said that will be good for all the new guys to get acclimated before playing under the lights vs. UVA.
Said they practiced there 2 nights ago and the D looked really good, and the O did a lot of dink and dunk passing to overcome the tough D line, and sprinkled in some nice long passes to keep the D honest. And Pickett has looked sharp this preseason in the new O. Also Vincent Carter looks to be a breakout star.
