Several observations
1. On a pivotal 3rd down for Marshall when they called us on a pass interference on us near the Pitt sideline, our pass rushers were held and tackled and I thought Narduzzi was going to burst a jugular...appropriately. If the refs are going to be so horrifically blind, then why have any officials. It was a crucial play at the time and just how bad can a backfield ref/umpire be???
2. There was a female line judge....just interesting...
3. These could not have been ACC officials
4. In replaying the pass to Weah, Orndoff was 100 percent totally uncovered down the middle and was an easier option..but we'll take at TD anyway we can...and a win is a win
5. After several therapy sessions (jk), I have recovered from the UNC loss. I am hoping for 8-4 and hope that UNC and Oklahoma St do not lose another game....we'll see

Agree with all points except the last, I hope UNC loses at least 2 games and PITT finds a way to win the rest of its ACC games (a stretch, I know).

The refs have been pretty bad, and PITT has unfortunately been the victim of some terribly missed call on critical plays. Maddox getting pulled down by his face mask at the end of the UNC game on a corner blitz, and Whitehead getting absolutely mugged on a TD against OSU.

Visiting OOC opponents always bring officials from their conference to officiate the games.
Same as us when we travel OOC. We take ACC officials,
The officials last night were from Conference USA.
