Of course you can, its all blocking still. But they purposely brought 9 guys up one on each side to stop the sweep.

As for the fumbles... he certainly helped lose the NC game with his fumble, and last night was horrible too. But he got whacked on a couple jet sweeps too.

The plus side is up the middle was more opened up for Conner

Pitt scored 36 points; let them take the play away other plays were made available because of their focus on the jet sweep. The middle of the field was wide open and big plays were made to the tight ends and wideouts.

The offense played excellent last night, whipping up on a great defensive team.

Exactly. Any team can stop the jet sweep almost every time if they sell out to stop it. But doing that leaves them exposed to James Conner rushing for 141 yards on 19 carries. If teams want to set up their defense to allow Conner seven and a half yards per carry, more power to them.
