Most high-level D1 athletes aren't shallow pusses like those who of you automatically assume the whole roster will transfer. To be an ACC caliber player it takes a level mental and physical toughness that fans don't understand. Therefore, if more than one player transfers I'd be shocked. Most players on the roster will look at this as an opportunity to learn a new system and get extra coaching that will help them in their basketball career and in their lives.

I would agree with that with any other coach, but this is different due to the Jeter connection. This is unlike any other coaching hire, probably ever.
-This is the same head coach that blocked Sheldan Jeter from transferring to Pitt. Jeter tried to get away from him. Are you not aware of that or what?

Apparently to be an ACC level coach, all you have to do is get in good with a search firm, lose a bunch of games at Vandy, threaten to kill your own players, block transfers, and morph into the Zodiac killer.

I didn't say Artis and Young will transfer I said they will be gone , they will go to Europe and make money playing ball , our new recruits will be going elsewhere , and Jeter will also be gone , you're really on a role here today huh ? I'm so shocked with your knowledge of the minds of ACC level basketball players .. Just save it

for me, i put zero weight in what players will transfer and which will not. pitt top priority was to find the best coach. period. barnes and company whiffed big time.
BK definitely needs to stay as an assistant to keep some players tho.

After watching PITT's unmotivated, not engaged, lazy players good ridding to most.

Totally agree ,but I doubt that this happens ( BK staying ). These kids transfer for so many reasons you don't need to add to the list of reasons. A new coach who didn't recruit you is a big enough change but now your adding in the Jeter incident . Jeter has to be bitter about what Stallings did to him . Jamie left his players ,Stalling left his players Jeter wanted to leave to come home and that a hole wouldn't allow it. Everyone on this board was incensed when Stalling blocked his transfer and with good reason ,it was an asshole thing to do to spite the kid. So now he's going to be your coach again, no f..in way if I'm Jeter . How do Jeters buds feel about this , I'm sure not to good ,if I was one of them I'd have to explore my options with staying being my last choice. Remember for most it's all about ball not school.
Maybe if you have some eligibility you should enroll, their liable to need you!

I wrestled in college! Can't make a layup but I can pin most people with lateral drop, Olympic roll ( cement job from where we're from), chicken wing ( owe that hurts), inside cradle to a choke out!
But we do need some new blood when it comes to players. I'm willing to wait a few year if we're going in the right direction!
