The folks at the home say Billy has his good days and his bad days now living in the twilight of his life...yesterday was a good one and he will always be the voice of Pitt...
I really enjoyed the TV broadcast last night as well. Avery Johnson is a great color analyst.
Avery Johnson is the perfect guy for the atmosphere of the Dayton games...I think he has been their guy there for a while.Always like him.
Curtis did a nice job on those calls as well. I generally think he doesn’t bring quite enough perspective and polish for that role- but his enthusiasm shined through last night. I would love to hear more of Julie Page.

We met him in person a few times , it was a let down , didn’t seem like a nice guy to the kids who treated him like an star when he walked up
I had a great conversation with mr hillgrove and his grandson at the 2015 spring game. He couldn’t have been nicer to me and it was really cool to hear his grandson talk about how he hoped to be a broadcaster as well someday. We met him in person a few times , it was a let down , didn’t seem like a nice guy to the kids who treated him like an star when he walked up
I'll one up you. He is without a doubt the local broadcasting GOAT. Why he gets shade is beyond me.Bill is an HOFer IMO. Thanks for sharing.
