Historically we get start times to the first 3 games this week

Orange Bowl-night game

For more than 50 years, the Orange Bowl has either begun or finished at night. The Hard Rock Stadium postseason game was the first bowl game to played at night and has taken place in the evening every year since 1965.

That won’t change this year. After originally being scheduled for a daytime start on New Year’s Day, the Orange Bowl is heading back to prime time.

The Orange Bowl Committee (OBC) announced Monday it is moving the game back to Dec. 30 with an 8 p.m. start. The game was previously scheduled to start at 1 p.m. on Jan. 1 in Miami Gardens.

the opener against uva, that's gonna be a night game right, on the ACCN? WHy do I think this? I'll just go ahead and assume the ohio u game is a nooner or 12:30 and will be online with espn9U.com. Buccos play at home the same day as Ohio U so you can confirm that one as an early one.

UCF hopefully is a later game, no bucco home game that weekend.. Deleware will be early too, pirates play at home that night too..

I'm of the SMF school of thought that UVA gets moved to Sunday to have 5 straight days of ACCN programming.

sunday at 5pm on labor day weekend? Yes, sign me up.. im onboard.. That would actually be really cool. anything beats Saturday at noon on labor day weekend..

heck, give me 3:30pm on Saturday. ribs (and beer) taste better at 3pm than 11am (although im not above eating ribs or drinking for breakfast).

I am totally down for that. I have a wedding to work around on the 31st.

Labor day and Memorial day are classic days for weddings. That's because family and friends who have to travel have 3 day weekends. But screw them in this case.
I get it from a logistical stand point. But as a passive invitee, last thing I want to do is get a suit and tie out of my closet and spend 5 hours in a ball room on what should be a relaxed, chill 3 day weekend.

Memorial Day, Labor Day and 4th of July weekends should be hanging out with family by the bbq, beer in hand, grilling out under the sun, back porch, feet up weekend.

Not getting a babysitter and getting dressed up and going to a hotel and waiting for a best man speech to end so you can get up and go to the bar for free booze, doing the chicken dance weekend. Save that for another day.

I have a rant about people that get married and have weddings on holiday weekends

Honestly, Best wedding I ever attended, New Year's Day, Sanibel Island, on the beach for the ceremony, and then back to tents with 3-4 big screen tv's, I highly recommend it!.

New Year’s Day? Now I like that. I would be down for that. Even New Year’s Eve too.

I have a wedding in Michigan Saturday that I'm still debating attending. The one year I could have totally been okay with a dud opener.

I saw that Houston and OU are playing on Sunday which lowers the odds Pitt plays that day. I think I'm just willing the game to Sunday for my own benefit haha.
