HOLY COW!! UCONN UC

Just to recap.

Game tied. Cincy ball.
Cincy misses a 3 with 3 seconds left
Cincy gets rebound and nails the kickout 3 with 0.8 second left.
UConn inbounds ball and a guy nails a 3/4 court bank shot for the tying 3 at the buzzer.

Now we head to OT #4. This game is awesome. And I am wondering if this is Pitt's final nail in the coffin if UConn wins.

Nah, it's been inevitable for weeks now. Pitt-UConn playing in Dayton.

it's not the nail in the coffin for the 28903th time.
we are in.

and thats a total blown clock job. u can't catch, take step, and shoot in .8

UConn hoops has so much good karma on its side it's incredible. That shot was incredible. Cincy got caught up in the celebration and allowed the guy to get the ball easily and launch it. I guess you really can never let your guard down and the Bearcats got burned by doing so.

March Madness--it's the best.

UConn ignored its fatigue and blasted Cincy in the fourth OT. I hate seeing the Huskies win like that since so much has gone right for the program since 1989, but they took advantage of a prayer opportunity and capitalized. That Cincy coach can suck it.

Yep. This time of year is special. It is bigger than Pitt or our fate. And it is bigger than someone's "bracket". My biggest pet peeve on say an upset like Northern Iowa over Kansas, and some idiot the next day glumly says "it screws up my bracket". It is called March Madness for a reason.

Not even close to a "final nail", owt.

We're doing ok today... 2 bubbles lost, 2 won.

Pitt still at least 6 or 7 spots above the cut line.

Not that I'm looking around for it, but I'd like to see a replay of that last shot because it's not possible to get that shot off from the time touched to the time released.

I haven't bothered to look at it twice other than seeing a replay on ESPN's front page but there's no doubt in my mind that the clock operator is incapable of starting the clock fast enough once the ball is touched - and no doubt in my mind that the tape will show he likely got at at least a second and a half to get the shot off.

Cincy got screwed. The guy took at least two steps before he shot. It's ridiculous.

There is no doubt in what you are saying. But it was a helluve a finish and moment for sure.

Its been said that u have .8 to.catch and release and that was on clock. Cincy meltdown as they were in locker room

The clock operator is not responsible for starting the clock, and hasn't been for quite a while now.

Fabulous game. Not in the same league as the UConn-Syracuse 6 OT BET game in 2009, but it was fun to see it. I'm not sure I will ever watch another game like that. Add in it finished at like 3 AM and I was so pissed because I had to be at work extra early that morning, but it was incredible basketball.
