Horton

Great. I will be at the bowl but can we get a lair regular like DTPitt to attend the hearing and give us updates ?
I don't think it'll take long enough to warrant one of us being there - I'd be surprised if there's any testimony presented.

Fred Primus's son was the #1 ranked 9 year old a few years ago. Neiko Primus. No idea if he is still near the top of the rankings. Fred played at ECU and was interviewed a couple years ago on the local radio show and was talking about how much better his son was than him. Fred seems to be doing ok.

A wake up call? Because the cops lied?

Things aren’t always clear cut.

For example, cop tries to stop him, he pulls hand away, hits the cops face. He probably is wrong, but is it “assault”?

That’s how I think things like that can happen without one side necessarily “lying”. In any event, he was in a situation he shouldn’t have and hopefully learns

The cops lied. The charges wouldn’t be dropped if he actually hit an officer.

Literally no other person would have been suspended for what he allegedly did, except a college player. Pro player wouldn't. McDonalds worker wouldn't. I wouldn't.

Charges that involve striking an officer would not be dropped if he did it.

Lying scum cops.
He must have some really bad luck to have his car towed for no reason and then the police to be called. I’ve had my car towed a bunch of times and it sucks, but the cops were never called because I didn’t escalate the situation.

We all screw up. Learn your lesson and move on.

You realize tow truck drivers are garbage right?

I heard DT_PITT will be there as an expert witness for Horton ...... he will explain to the judge (with illustrations) how important Horton is as a three point shooter to the Pitt basketball team and hopefully this will be convincing enough to have the charges dismissed !!! LOL !!!!

No, I will. This is BS. As usual a young black man that the justice system attempted to railroad.

if he was older, had a job, he likely loses that job because the cops lied.
You expecting Horton, Capel and Pitt to say the exact same thing later today?

Maybe even Stallings will join them?

I don’t know exactly what happened and you don’t know exactly what happened. And Chris has made it quite clear this kind of debate on his boards is not what he wants.
Plus, it looks like he will get the chance to put this all behind him. We should too. So please, let it go.

Back … and to the left!!

It does have me curious, though: If all tow truck drivers are garbage, does that mean all garbage truck drivers are tow? I'm going to skip the Pitt game tonight just to get high and ponder this philosophical conundrum.
Good plan … but you’ve already made my head hurt.

I will opt for drinking … starting now.

assault charges are dropped all of the time. Especially ones with drunk college students. The intent part is what held it up. The cops gave him the benefit of the doubt and agreed it was an accident. This isn't difficult to put together.
