How bad is Wisconsin?

They were done when Van Dyke won the job.
If a QB that bad is coming in and taking the starting spot, you’re in trouble.
Everyone was riding Luke Fickell's meat 3 or 4 years ago. Then it was Sonny Dykes. Currently it's Curt Cignetti.
Fickell was great while he was at a school that had a talent advantage almost every week. The landscape changed at UC & he bolted. He must already be feeling the heat because he cut ties with Phil Longo last week

That's a fair point. I don't follow their recruiting. They also beat decent team though, right?
Yeah but he brought that talent in. It’s not like the place just recruits itself.
But his recruiting at the end got lazy even by AAC standards.
But having to part ways with Longo already is a huge red flag. Anytime UNC would lose a QB or key pieces on offense and people were expecting a setback, my response was always: I’ll believe Longo has a bad offense when Longo actually has a bad offense.
Dude was elite everywhere he had been. Then the bottom falls out Wisky? That sounds more like a HC issue.
