How do our new corners compare to...

Pinnock has almost identical size. When I watch the tape I see Loe as more of the dual threat weapon (kick returns, offense) while Pinnock seems to be more of a traditional corner with good fundamentals. Pinnock's tape was largely him tracking the ball and making good tackles while Poe's tape seemed to have very little of that.

We have enough of the dual threat guys now in Whitehead and Ford. Pinnock looks great to me. This secondary is going to go from a weakness to a strength in quite a hurry.

don't expect these guys to make a impact next year. 2018 is the earliest most will have any chance of earning playing time. But I do agree that Pitt will have a very good secondary soon.

Pinnock is a high level athlete. He has a pretty big ceiling as a CB.

Mathis got a nice bump from a 5.5 to a 5.7 for Rivals in this last round of updates. a 5.7 is the highest 3 star.

I won't say with Loe, but those two and Ford are a REALLY nice follow up to the kids they got last year in the secodary.

Hopefully we see a nice bump in our secondary in 2017 with Hamlin (hopefully) full-time and a healthy Whitehead, along with newcomers contributing like Bricen Garner, Coleman, and Miller. Add the next wave with Ford, Pinnock, and Mathis and you have to see a bright future ahead for this group.

Still have Avote Maddox around for another year as well, no?
