how do you lose this game

Danny Manning is in his fifth year at Wake recruiting far superior talent than what PITT has on its roster. That's how.

Plus you are on the road in the ACC and playing a game you were only a 2-3 point favorite to begin with and you had an injured starter playing limited minutes with a bad hand. It's no great mystery. It's not like we were double digit favorites.

Bottom line overall in the ACC--we won 2 games we theoretically should not have won and lost one we should theoretically have won. We may win 2 more, perhaps, if we get 100% healthy and the freshman wall is climbed.

We have just come back to reality. IMHO, we will be fortunate if we find 2 more ACC wins. It is not out of the realm of possibility that we don't win another (although I hope not) as the finale (Notre Dames at the Pete) is the only individual game we may currently be favored to win.

Pitt would have won. If they would have denied Wake 1 or maybe 2 offensive rebounds. 2nd chance points beat Pitt
