How Many Panthers Get Drafted?

I can see all above, except for Blewitt. He has a strong leg, but his accuracy is no where near the NFL standard. Maybe his leg gets him an NFL camp for a cup of coffee, but I just don't see it, even as a F.A.

With that said, he has hit some big game winning kicks, but his kicks do not have an NFL look about them. They spin ugly. However, the Clemson kick was by far away his most impressive kick. That looked like an NFL ball going through the uprights.

I don't think he's very good, but Matt Galambos will get an invite.

I don't see invites for Bradley, Webb nor Caprara. Not enough athletic ability for Webb or Caprara...not enough talent from Bradley.

Guessing

Price
Biz
Johnson
Orndorff
Peterman
Conner

Free Agents

Jarrett
Blewitt
Soto
I'd say Biz, Johnson, and Conner are locks. Price, Peterman, and Orndoff are likely 6th or 7th rounders, at best, so you never really know with them. I'm not sure any of them will test all that well and Price has injury and age issues that hurt him. I don't see any of the rest having a realistic shot, but in the 7th round, who the heck knows? It only takes one team.

Pretty darn good class of guys leaving. Should have 3-6 guys drafted and another 4-6 who get camp invites.

I don't see a whole lot of difference between Scott Orndoff and these "elite" TE prospects. I think Orndoff is one of the most underrated players we've had in a long time.

I think price goes higher than expected. The guy flat out gets to the QB. Plus the precedent is there with smaller DEs who were very productive.

Jarrett should not lose weight, NFL will like his weight. Orndoff goes 7 round I think unless his combine numbers rock. I can't see Soto or blewitt getting drafted. It will be a God year for Pitt guys to watch the draft

Jarrett eats up lots of room & commands attention in the center of the line. He will get drafted if he gets thru combines & workouts in good physical health / no lingering injuries.

H2 PITT !!!

Orndoff has everything that pro GM's would be looking for. The only question that remains for him is his 40 time. If he runs even a tick under a 4.8, he will go higher than any of you project. If it is over a 4.8, he might not even go in rd. 7. I am really curious to see how it all shakes out for him.

Jarrett in the right system is a big dude in the middle and can move. Agree Orndoff is a steal. speed. size, awareness and blocks. Hard to find that these days. Pitt should have 6 for sure.

I completely agree with this

Soto is a very interesting prospect. He looked really good at times since Pitt moved him inside to tackle this year. He looked to be getting better each game he played. Not sure it leads to him being drafted but, he will absolutely get a shot in someone's camp next season.

I agree, he played very well and he will get into a camp.

He is also athletic. I'd like to see him drafted just don't think he will

It depends on how they test out. It would nice to see the Steelers draft a Pitt guy.

Especially if it is #24 to replace the aging and oft-injured D'Angelo Williams as Bell's backup.
We have 2 OL that could help bolster the OL, Conner would be a great backup to Bell that could also play TE/H-Back, the Steelers need TE help and Orndorff would be a good late pick, Price would be a good late pick who could play 3-4 OLB, Jarrett could be a late pick for NT, NP could be a late pick for backup QB. A lot of possibilities. It is not like we have 1 possibility and the guy fits a 4-3 scheme.
