How much do you guys honesty think recruiting would improve if we could somehow beat Clemson?

I mean, would 1 game start bringing us more 4 or 5 star players to Pitt? Would that get Wade locked up after a win like that? I'm just wondering the real impact of a huge upset.

It's kinda like asking, "If I hit the Powerball for several hundred mil, would that increase my chances of sleeping with Kate Upton?"

Both are moot points, since neither is gonna happen.

One game? Not at all. Nothing. He needs to be able to convince kids he's building something and get some players. He needs to identify talent and get them as there's not going to be a parade of 4 and 5 star guys. Certainly not now. If/when they start winning somewhat consistently it may get easier/better.

Hope so.

And by the way. How much of a high was everyone on when Pitt beat PSU? You think that one game will have any effect on recruiting? I sure don't. In terms of recruiting - I'd give that win back and trade places in a heartbeat.

Could we get a schedule of Purdue, Indiana, Rutgers, Maryland, Iowa, Michigan State too?

But really they still deserve credit for improving throughout the year, it's not a given Pitt would beat allll those teams (though they should).

Their offensive coordinator in particular is looking to be a great hire for Franklin.
