FSU's QB is Everett Golson who throws for 242 yards/game, 67% accuracy, 11 TD's and 0 interceptions. He's the ND transfer who lead the Domers to the National Championship game a few years ago. He's really good.

FSU's RB is Dalvin Cook who is running for 159 yards/game, 8.7 yards/carry, and has 10 TD's. He is 1 of the 3 best RB's in the country, along with OSU's Zeke Elliott and LSU's Leonard Fournette.

GT just held FSU to 280 total yards and 16 points. Golson was 20/30, 210 yards, 0 TD, 1 int. Cook ran 17 times for 82 yards (4.7 yds/carry), accounting for all of FSU's rushing yards that weren't Golson sacks/scrambles (7 carries, -12 yards).

Pitt last week had 391 yards and 31 points against GT. Peterman was 14/21, 162 yards, 3 TD, 0 ints, plus another 29 passing yards from Boyd. The team combined for 200 rushing yards, highlighted by Ollison's 83 yards.

How did Pitt easily surpass FSU's offensive output against the same ho-hum D at the same point in the year? FSU has the most impressive QB-RB combo in the nation, yet we gained 111 more yards and scored 15 more points.

Do I seriously need to explain this?
Fantasy sports is based on people predicting real sports.

You must still be drunk after watching the game. I am using the Cle TE this week as a fill in for Eifert who is on bye week. I have no idea if Cle will win or lose and I don't care, so long as he gets 70 yards and a TD. He may also crash back down to earth and get 30 yards and no TD. That's why they play the games, because you don't know what will happen. People looking for transitive aspects in sports will always be confused. Case in point. The weather can be different, home/away, injury, bad bounces, matchups are different. There are literally dozens of reasons why outcomes change week over week.

When you set your fantasy defense, do your usually rush 4 or blitz? Or does it depend on the opponent?

Cook had a hamstring that wasn't 100% and golson is a good qb but he's had games where he was very pedestrian before. vs Pitt in 2012 was one of them and woulda been a loss for him if it hadn't been for the zebras.
