I didn't make a prediction on this year's game. If you can find some of my old posts, you can verify that. I figured it could go either way. And it turned out to be a 3 pt. game.

And you losers were lucky it was a close game at the end, mainly because of Pitt letting you back in the game with some questionable play calling and brain farts. If Pitt hadn't taken its foot off the gas and put on the brakes in the third quarter, we would have probably beaten your sorry asses by 30. The game wasn't going to go either way. Pitt was completely dominating you guys. We're the better team and we proved it.

But as I always say, PSU is irrelevant and what you do on the field is meaningless because you shouldn't even be playing football. Your program should be banned from playing any games for a long, long time. I know you nitwits disagree with that, but I don't care what you think. It doesn't change any of the facts of what happened up there with child rape by your coaches for decades and the cover-up to protect your garbage football program.

Well, if you looked at your own board, you'll see that I've given credit to Pitt for their win this season. I even pushed back on some BWI people about it. So try again. But I do honestly think Pitt will have a hard time keeping it close next year. It's an opinion that I happen to hold strongly, which is why I said "Book it." Nothing wrong with that.

I'm okay with outlandish predictions but the reaction in that thread to Rossi ripping on Franklin for claiming the OSU win helps with "healing" is very predictable for this bunch.

Usually I make some sort of prediction on who I think will win a game, unless I really don't have a feel for it. In that case I simply don't make a prediction. That's how I handled the PSU / Pitt game this year.

We will be better next year. Every position is potentially upgraded except losing Dorian Johnson. JJS for Biz isnt any drop I dont think.

My biggest concern is breaking in a new QB. This game is second on the schedule so the passing game may still be a bit rough around the edges. Of course having Clark and Reeves may ease that concern a bit.

I think Penn State will be favored by 13 or so next year. They return 18 starters and the guys they are replacing are not key starters. We return around 10 starters and will be replacing a starting qb, almost entire d line, lb's, TE, 2 oline man. As much as we make fun of Franklin for coaching, he has brought in a lot of talent that is starting to see the field with more red shirting and more coming

For the record, I have no idea who's going to win the game? However, I do know that I heard this exact same song and dance last year about how well they were recruiting and how it would be a miracle if we kept it close.

Nobody has any idea what the spread is going to be or how the game is going to turn out?

This isn't complicated. Penn State will be a favorite next year. It's a home game, their crowd will actually show up for this OOC game because they clearly don't care about Pitt, and Pitt will have a new QB playing in his second game in a new system vs. a Penn State QB with a full year under his belt.

Doesn't mean Penn State wins by 20 or loses by 20. We'll find out when the game is played. But between now and then so much has to happen. And injuries the rest of this year, in spring ball, summer conditioning, training camp and week one can also be a factor.

If Penn State wins next year, it doesn't mean either team automatically wins the following year anyways. And the hatred will be massive no matter what happens. That's the beauty of a "non-rivalry game" that one fanbase doesn't (cough) care about. And that's what makes it fun. Did either side think they'd win four out of four?

I have no problem with Rival's PSU Poster Howie81 predicting on BWI Penn State beating Pitt next year in Beaver Stadium this is what blogging is all about on CFB.

The Posts on BWI talking about Panther-Lair Posts just goes to show how much Penn State-Pitt Rivalry exists and compared to Ohio State Boards how little OSU thinks of PSU as a Rival with very few posts at all? I am talking before, during, and after the OSU-PSU Game. I just shows OSU does not have the same respect towards PSU as PSU Fans have for Pitt, as I see it.

Pitt Posters were excited to beat Penn State for the second time in this century straight unlike Penn State. Now Penn State Posters are waiting to beat Pitt next year like they did Ohio State this year.

Additionally, the PSU Fans in Heinz Stadium were just as excited playing Pitt again.Pitt Fans will feel the same at Beaver next year.

Moreover, the game was a whisker close and both Fan Bases were classy, magnanimous, and courtesy to each other. This is a Win-Win for both both PSU-PITT even when one loses.

Furthermore, Howie81 enthusiasm is example Penn State Fans can't wait to play Pitt again. Pitt Fans should take that as compliment and next year on the Lair there can be a joint PITT-PSU rediction thread.

Finally, no Pitt Fans or Students rioted, burned down or attacked Cars, brought down Light Poles, over winning the Penn State Game, it was just another rivalry game played again without the violence.

I still see Pitt Coach Narduzzi a far better fit for Pitt and the ACC and the better coach than Penn State Franklin. It shows up on how Franklin was pretty much a Cheerleader not a Good Sideline Coach against OSU and all season frankly.

Howie81 has every right to disagree with all of us as well on BWI and post here and there disagreeing with all of us and pointing his own points of views. I welcome it and respect him doing so, as a Fan and Poster.
