Howland to Mississippi state

probably smart of him to get a Power 5 and not wait on SJU or Texas hypos. There are only 2 great teams in the SEC whose coaches might jump to NBA. He can compete very soon.

Calipari, Donovan, Pearl, and Howland. That's the nucleus of a good coaching fraternity in the SEC.

Re: Mississippi State Athletic Director Smart Move!

The M.S. AD grabbed Mullen and now Howland.

Missy State will be a Top 25 Football and Basketball Program for years to come.

Both know how to recruit, develop, and train their players into good teams.

It is a tad sad, Pitt has two Alumnus Coaching top Teams in the NCAA Tournament and not at Pitt. I can see why Cappy was not offered but Sean Miller would have a great p[ick for Pitt even back in 1999! Pederson Anti-Pitt Picks has cost Pitt some mighty good home grown talent.

Howland went from UCLA to Missy State, Jamie struggling the last few year after a great run. But Cappy & Miller are two of the best Basketball Coaches in America.

So glad Pederson is gone!

Jamie will have this year coming up to turn it around.

Good luck to all of them!
