Hurley, Oats, Musselman, Miller

Musselman doesn't seem to be a candidate at all. Bad fit as he's out west, rumored to not have the greatest personality, and just doesn't seem to be in the mix at all.

agree with the other 2 though.

He grew up in Cleveland. I added Miller because he is going to be on the hot seat.

You and I seem to be alone in preferring Musselman. Win or lose tomorrow I think he’d be a great choice for many different reasons.

-I arguably like him better then Dan Hurley. But his name has been silent.

Oats and Musselman are very similar. The difference being Musselman has a lot more coaching experience.

His resume is kind of unique actually. He’s done just about everything except for coaching with the USA national team, wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up there in some capacity someday.

Some joker on local radio here the other day speculated that if the Lakers dumped Luke Walton that Musselman would be a candidate there. Other than that I haven’t really heard his name mentioned anywhere, but it certainly should be.

I like Muselmann a lot also. The guy wins wherever he’s at. Who cares if he rubs some folks the wrong way. I mean 90 percent of all the great coaches rub many the wrong way.

As for Miller. He’s dropped waaaay down my list. If he can’t win with all those 5 stars how is he going to win at Pitt. Throw in the fact the guy who brought those 5 stars is not going to be on Millers staff. I would Pass on Miller and go hard at Muselman

Miller wouldn’t be my top choice either, but he would provide a much needed jolt and attendance would spike.

He might get hit with a show cause. Until he is out of the woods on that, nobody will hire him.

Outlaw type programs would.

I think he waits for the dust to clear and looks for something a little better. I see him as a young 65, don’t think he just fades away.

That being said it’s way too soon for him to come back at a place like Pitt.

The Houston, SMU, UTEP like programs that take a chance on guys like him.

Agreed - He will be back at some point down the line.

He's a cheater and a scumbag so there's that...
But hed put Pitt back on the national stage and jumpstart the program. No one cares about the other stuff. Certainly not the talking heads nor the recruits.

Pitt can do better than that clown.
