Even if so, it isn’t the worst thing to keep the relationship positive in the event that things sour after a season or two at the first school, and he enters the portal. This is the new reality of recruiting for the mid level programs.

I remember when Hykeem had Rutgers for God's sake as one of his top schools the 1st time around - why?
Tyquan Underwood.

Then Underwood went to Pitt and Hykeem said something like - "that changes everything" and we were a finalist and scratch Rutgers.

Now with Deon at Colorado - *and* Underwood at Syracuse and their brand new facilities with coach Brown and all that...
I'd be very surprised if we got him.

There’s a term that people in the recruiting industry use for 5* WRs. Something like, “Year 1, 0.” I don’t remember it exactly.

But essentially 5* WRs that do 0 as True Freshmen end up being busts. It’s a position where the 5* talent that are going to live up to the hype, show you that their true freshman year.

Underwood is with the Dallas Cowboys, not Syracuse.

Hykeem went out of his way to take a shot at Deion's fomer player when he committed to FSU - I know they won't have forgot that.
