I mean for one, if this all pushes Pitt towards going all in on basketball I’m for it. That is where they should throw money as they can compete there.
To the point though, this started with hiring Cignetti. It has been a progression of disasters since then.
To be clear I don’t want fire pat. I’m still really happy he hired Bell and seemingly understood where the issues were, but I feel it might be too late.
In general, I would love to go back in time and see what happens with a different OC hire and possibly keep Addison. It doesn’t have to be a guy like bell but just someone that was a bit more innovative and not stepping back to 1995.
