I believe Sanders is a good kid who has values that make a flip an extremely difficult proposition, made even more painful by Franklin laying on the guilt. However, many things can and likely will happen in the next 9 months that will allow his conscience to more freely accept a flip. His original decision was made when all of the current decision criteria was not available to him (i.e., Narduzzi & Co. were not yet at his hometown school), Pitt's performance on the field was mediocre at best with no real expectation of significant improvement (even if Pitt is mediocre this year the future is MUCH brighter) and PSU will have another season under it's belt with Franklin at the helm (and even if they win 9 games with their cupcake schedule, recruits aren't stupid - the games with OSU, Mich, MSU and Wisc will resonate with them). Add to that another 9 months of relationship building with the Pitt staff and seeing how they compete on game day and I think the spin required to justify a flip become much easier to swallow. And finally, if Franklin tries the all-out guilt offensive with Sanders and his mom, Narduzzi need not go any further than Bowers and Givens to expose Franklin as the fraud he truly is. So, let's just sit back and let things play out and in the end I believe PSU will not be his choice. Whether Pitt is his ultimate choice, however, is a topic for another thread.
