This is ridiculous. I even took a drive down to Consol Energy Center and got the vibe from the crowd already there. There are people everywhere right now walking around.

It is such a beautiful day too.

I also then drove past Oakmont. There are people everywhere and everything is now set up.

What a time to be a sports fan in Pittsburgh. Wow. Yes, I am like a little kid, but isn't that what sports is ultimately supposed to be, entertainment, enjoyment and excitement.

Awesome.

Then there is this sign only a block away on 5th Ave from Consol. Just perfect for the day.

Also, wtf with the Big Screen. For maybe a few hundred people, I can see. When you are getting into the thousands like today, why would you go to this? Go to Bufords or the Souper Bowl, watch the game there, on TVs you can see, with sound you can hear and most of all, alcohol you can drink, then when the game is over....you can celebrate outside with the masses.

I don't get why adult aged people would want to go that big screen route.

Completely agree with this. You can't really focus on the game if you are watching on the big screen. You are there for just the atmosphere. I have to think these are casual fans at the Big Screen.

Most were teenagers where I walked by. Some adults were with some kids. Outside of that, yeah, unless you can sneak in booze, I'd rather be at a bar, or even on my couch.

Was at game 2. All the bars were packed . Plus thousands outside at Mario's TV .
Its an exciting time to be a Pens fan . Whats wrong with that ?

Just can't start a game 2 in the hole a minute and a half in... That was absolutely terrible given the stakes...
