How after seemingly each win that this team had over mediocre competition, the Jamie apologists came out banging their drums, but now they're nowhere to be found.
What I find particularly maddening is that this team will probably go something like 3-3 or 4-2 the rest of the way, and will backdoor their way into the NCAA tournament with maybe one meaningful win (@ Notre Dame). Then, those of us with some sense will be subject to hearing how this was a successful year. Meanwhile, we'll have suffered through yet another mediocre-at-best season for the fifth year in a row, with little hope for things to change next year.
