One of the bwi posters said they should melt the statue down to make bullets to shoot all those who have wronged Paterno such as the BOT. You know, since they all forced Paterno to not report it to any real policemen and keep quiet about it for 10 years.

They won't put it back up, but I wish they would. It would be a monument to their clueless insensitivity. It would permanently cement the negative impression that the world holds for them.
This Paterno tribute itself is reminding the world of who they are. This can't be good for recruiting. A recruit can look past what happened years ago if the university moves on, but the current headlines scream that PSU is a messed up place that didn't and still doesn't get it. Top recruits who might be, or might in the near future, consider PSU as an option will likely look elsewhere.
Think about this for a minute, half of the Cult thinks Sandusky is innocent , let that set in your minds. WOW!
He not only teaches there but went there as well! He needs to get out of state college and see the real world!
