I've been trying to stay positive and avoid the negative feelings and posts, but today the honeymoon period ended for Duzz (at least for me). How many games will the D surrender more than 500 yards and 35+ points? And for a coach with a defensive background it's truly troubling. Not next week, but the Cuse and Duke games I'd really hope that there's some improvements.

Yes, I get frustrated. I am human and proud, so losing is tough, and I sometimes get angry during games. But, to just demean a team and be totally negative is fruitless. It does not help. Do you think they are losing on purpose? Doesn't the other team want to win too? Miami had lost 4 in a row. They were home and the favorite. I realize Pitt does not out-talent teams like that right now, so there is little room for error. It was one game that Pitt just fell out of contention in the fourth after the turnovers. So, the loss is tough, but Pitt is what it is. I still have hope for the future, and will have confidence in the staff and give them time. The negativism on this board ticks me off at times. I don't mind criticism and venting, but the 'snarky', demeaning kind is uncalled for if you are a true fan. Win or lose, Pitt is my team, and I will always maintain faith in them, and will enjoy watching them. If one does not believe in them or does not 'enjoy' the games, they should move on.

I agree with alot of what you said and I will always love Pitt no matter what. That being said, I don't have a problem with people like Poker venting their frustrations here. That is what this board is for. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and that is not always a bad thing.

I have not had it with Narduzzi by any means, but, I am not exactly thrilled as I have stated before. The Duzz is extremely stubborn sticking with a system that we obviously are not ready talent-wise to play. He would show me alot next week if he went to a defensive scheme that played a variation of 3 or 4 lineman with 7 or 8 defensive backs, just daring the other team to run in an effort to shield our woeful D-backs from more embarassment.
Surely, he is a bright coach, and has seen the same show for weeks now, and must himself be tired of it. Even if the other team runs us over 10 yards at a time, it would be something different. At this point, that is all i want, something that shows me he has some flexibility.

Anyway, relax on Poker, I am sure he doesn't mean everything he says and would like to see the Duzz change the system just like me. He is just really frustrated just like most of the rest of us. If you can't criticize now, then when?
