Idc who gets upset by that. Another year of this would make me physically sick. It’s an absolute embarrassment and no help is on the way.

Crazy to watch BC just outclass us. So sad.

Can’t wait for the day HCJC is gone.

Btw…. The best big in CBB didn’t play very well today.

But idiot Paul Zeise keeps writing columns claiming Pitt is making progress under Capel this season and nobody wants to go through another rebuild smh. Is that man serious? Progress? We suck monkey balls. Capel needs to go along with his useless staff the day after Pitt's season mercifully ends.

Realistically - there is simply no way that I see Capel turning our program around and it is all on him. He insisted on hiring his brother and fellow cronies who had no good recruiting connections. Then he doubled down by keeping everyone and promoting Brown. There is no foundation or hope in the younger classes because he has neglected them by only bringing in Santos.

I 100000% agree. And FWIW, if he was the HC at Duke he’d never ever let that ship sink because of Jason, Jeff, and Timmy. He hasn’t given this his best effort and has stolen money from Pitt just like Joe says Stallings did.

Investigate the Eaton Reid recruitment.

Hire computer forensic experts to examine his devices in search of fire for cause activity.

Interview all associated staff and require polygraphs.

Sounds ridiculou, doesn’t it? Or is it, Heather?

I’ve seen enough to believe that JC will not revive the bb program without a booster group helping with recruiting, but I’m also aware that Pitt still owes him a shit load of money . To fire JC to hire an unknown will do nothing for attendance and donations and if that coach fails I’m afraid Pitt will ever get out of bottom of the ACC .

Where’s the money coming from to fire JC and hire a named coach ? More importantly what named coach in demand would want the job ?

JC isn’t reviving this program with or without a booster group. He isn’t a good coach and has put together a terrible staff. The buck falls squarely on him. Pitt needs to hire a hungry coach that HAS to win and has already done it at a lower level. There are quite a few out there: Medved, Golden, Boals, Gates, Devries, Valentine, Odom, etc…

I have no problem spending other peoples money , fire him and pay some great coach 5 mil and his staff 3 mil , get players NIL deals ….. it’s not the way Pitt does business .

Not to run the bb program , last I heard Pitt already subsidizes the athletic budget.

You think I’m defending JC , but I’m just being realistic. Pitt has shown through the yrs that there’s limits in how much they really care about winning bb and Fb games and it’s not the same as yours .( or mine )

Almost everyone subsidizes the athletic program. Do you think Colorado St. for example is going to pay their coach anywhere close to what we pay? Capel made 3.53 million last year. We know he cannot get the job done. What good is kicking the can down the road going to accomplish?
