The underdog. Plus it helps the overall perception of the ACC Coastal. Not a bad thing.

It also likely drops us to a tier 2 Bowl since its very unlikely UNC gets into the playoff, so instead of a playoff team & 2 NY6's the ACC/ND would only have 2 NY6's and we would get screwed.

I think it is never a good thing if our conference is left out of the CFP. Big 12 took a big PR hit last year, and it is better for the ACC if they are never in the position of being the league that is left out.

And if it is bad for the ACC, then it is bad for Pitt.
