I really hope this will temper people's expectations

The reason so many are so pissed right now is because you had absurd expectations for this year. Many seemed to feel that 8 or 9 wins was a baseline for this team, and that was never fair. Narduzzi is the right guy, but he needs a couple years.

But for the love of God, if you really thought this team was winning 9 or 10 regular season games, you only have yourself to blame.

Like I said at the beginning of the year, would be happy with 7 wins, and ecstatic with 8 going into a bowl.

Todd graham did it too. Pitt fans tried to crucify him in his first year here. I'm sure it was part of the reason he left.

Todd graham is a pretty good coach.

Pitt fans are good at being very vocal and unreasonable with expectations for the program. Pitt has many disadvantages compared to other schools, and it isn't easy to win here. The baseline should be a bowl game every year...and hope for some better years.

I wouldn't blame narduzzi for leaving at first opportunity. I mean, the goal this year seemed to be coastal division or bust. That is ridiculous.

Playing a base 4-3 for 95 percent of the time. At the end of halfs and games not even playing the nickel. And we didn't pressure the heck out of anyone but we did shut out the run. Who cares we lost.0

wrong, the reason so many are pissed is because we gave away the game today with total chicken shit play calling in the 4th. We had that game in spite of the defensive genius' lousy pass protection but handed to to unc in the 4th.
