hanging around with Mike and Jamel before the game.. He had a very bad game for him and almost seemed as disinterested as our two "stars". Hats off to James Robinson and Chris Jones who were the two most responsible for the win with an assist from Rafael with his 12 rebounds and hustle. I liked that Maia got more minutes, but was a little disappointed he didn't get any playing time at he end of the game. Possibly because of his four fouls.

Maia should have been getting more mins. all year. He does all the little things that make a team better, and we need all the team players on the floor that we can get.
He did have 4 fouls, but he is also the worst free-throw shooter, so that may explain his seat on the bench late in the game.
Maia seems to perform better when coming off of the bench rather than as a starter. Although I agree, he brings certain elements to the team that are missing when he's not on the court.
He probably should be playing around 15 minutes per game, more if he's playing well and less if he's ineffective.

I agree. He plays defense, rebounds, and makes hustle plays that are noticeably absent from our front line when he's on the bench.
Two years ago in the game that Durand got hurt when he collided with Thomas was what I remember. That night Thomas was a warrior and I don't think I saw a player that tenacious at the Pete all year. Maybe losing the last two years wore him down, but I didn't see him close to a warrior mentality all evening. Also the injuries have affected Miller-McIntyre. Crawford looks like he can be a player going forward for WF.
