I think JD Bristled at Barnes taking some control away

I think JD left mostly because he Bristled at Barnes having more influence over the schedule and likely suggesting to JD that he make some staff changes.

TCU is a lateral move at best. Making the tourney in the Big 12 will be as hard or harder than the ACC. He'll be recruiting against KU, AM, OU and Texas.........

This was a move made over raw emotions and losing a bit of control..............

Perhaps this is true, but if you are the Head Coach and feel like you need to make a change, then you certainly do.

-Im going to end this debate. Dixon crossed the line and got pushed out the door. That's it. I dont need to say anything else in regard to this. You believe what you want.
 
Perhaps this is true, but if you are the Head Coach and feel like you need to make a change, then you certainly do.

Not criticizing him for it just stating that I think that was a big factor. Coaches have huge egos. You don't get to their level of accomplishment by not having one. They don't like being told what to do. JD had free reign prior to Barnes. He was being reeled back in a bit. That had to be part of the reason hes leaving for a lesser job in a conference that may be even tougher to compete in.
