Nice player but we should be set with big men (Diaz brothers & Federiko). Need guards WHO CAN SHOOT WELL like we had this year.
I like that he 240, our big men are 200 lbs soaking wet…Nice player but we should be set with big men (Diaz brothers & Federiko). Need guards WHO CAN SHOOT WELL like we had this year.
I think he could help.....moves well......maybe a nice insurance get!!!
Those guys were great but we looked anything but set in those games they got pushed around. They should get bigger and stronger for next year but a little more brute force can't hurt.Nice player but we should be set with big men (Diaz brothers & Federiko). He probably wants to be “the man” somewhere, not fight Fede and GD for minutes.
Nevertheless, the staff IS actively looking for a beefy guy to back-up Fede. See PSN's current list of players being contacted by Pitt and note the 6-9, 240 Ball State guy. I really believe they want GDG to be able to play mostly as a face the hoop 4 and not need to depend on him to back-up Fede as a back to the hoop 5.My thought as well. Which I’d all fine and good. But as selfless as they are, I’d assume Fede and GDG want to be the guys. Fede is already capable when healthy and GDG priced in the tourney that he is a lot closer than many assumed.

They are, of course, recruiting shooters to replace Elliot, Sibande and Burton.
If no one else enters the portal from the current roster creating more open ships, then we should see two 6-3 to 6-7 in height wings who can shoot the 3-ball and 1 physically strong post from the portal being brought in to fill the 3 open ships. They probably expect incoming off-guard/wing Carrington (who may now be 6-5 or 6-6) to also be a 3-ball shooting wing.
They also do not seem to be looking for a point guard to replace Nelly Cummings--probably staying as is with Dior backed by incoming freshman Lowe.
