Jerk needs WRs to be wide open. While he’s not complete responsible for this shit show when your qb sucks it has a cascading effect on the rest of the team. Continuing to start and defend a guy whose underperforming sends a horrible message to the team

Much if VTs offense was pitch left and right and they continually got the edge on our defense. They looked like the broncos tackling

Baffling personnel decisions. They put Carter in on key third downs and leave Bart off the field. Make zero attempt to use Johnson’s speed on offense. Hammond is invisible

Just an awful decision to keep the billshitter cignetti. He’s freaking worse than watson

This team is a flaming dumpster fire and they risk losing guys like Bart and Hammond after the season

I'm personally tired of hearing about 20 wins over 2 seasons including bowl games. Against a mediocre schedule and few impressive victories but several embarrassing defeats. Unfortunately that will prove to be the high water mark for Narduzzi and his program. The sooner the administration and his blind followers realize this the better

Peak spent a lot of his shows this week talking about how Pitt needs to play ball control offense. Run, run, run. Use play action now and then. Ball control passing game. Etc. And that Pitt could be good doing that.

But they can’t. That maybe could have given the team a chance to win at the end of the game against most of the JV schedule.

But they weren’t that weren’t dominate doing that against what had been mostly average to bad teams.
And the defense this year isn’t so good where you can burn possessions running the ball to wear down the defense for the 4th quarter. The games are going to be out of reach in the 4th quarter.

There isn’t a single team left on the schedule that Pitt can just play a conservative, ball control rushing offense against and not be down multiple scores in the 4th.

But that’s all the offense is set up to do.
