I wonder if David Adams has any reservations about the new ND

DC's 4-2-5 scheme. With only 2 LBs on the field, that's at least one less available position for the LBs on the roster to fight for.

Apparently Adams' stock is dropping. I've seen some bad reports out of the all-star games and post high school season. Looks like he lacks athleticism and may not have the speed many thought he would.

I'm optimistic about the LBers Narduzzi has brought in over the past 2 cycles.

personally, i don't think he will play much at nd. has nothing to do with sour grapes, i just don't think he will be good enough there.

Narduzzi loved Adams. Stock dropping doesnt change that. If he wants to flip we take him in a second and put him in the middle.

A good way I like to evaluate players is find another player on his teams defense and look at that players hudl tape. Then watch your player on plays that didn't make his highlight reel.

From what I remember watching of Adams, (never saw his highlight and it was his Junior season that I watched), I remember watching a great run stuffing LB, but a so in so passing LB.

Agree but Adams seems to be one of kids that has Touchdown Jesus and a Golden Dome in their heads at all times. I don't see a scenario where he flips. Would like to be wrong though.

My question is is he faster than Galombos? Matt G. was a step slow but played pretty well this year.

Adams brings many positives to any program. But his rating is not one of them.He is not a star linebacker as to his size and or range. But he is a good recruit and can be a contributor to most programs. I think he peaked physically his junior year and hasn't added very much in the way of speed or size since then.

I've heard that he had both arms and half a leg amputated. He is going to stink at ND. If he gets drafted in the 1st round of the NFL draft it will only be because he is a pile jumper sorrounded by good players.

My God that's terrible. Hope they honor his scholarship. It is Kelly after all.

Funny but I heard the same thing...small world

I read he needs shoulder surgery so that may be having an impact. And then again maybe not. I've never seen him play so there's that.

I think he tore some tendons in his forearm or something in the first game, which is why he wears the arm brace. Tough sob, that's for sure. I don't think he's as good as his rating, but we have serious depth issues at MLB and I would take him in a heartbeat.

Yeah but I think he sticks it out at ND . At least 1 year anyways , until he gets tired of standing around . By then he transfers and has to sit a year anyways .
Not making an impact at Pitt . Pass
