Guy was a regular poster for a few years and hasn't been on the board since July.

I’d take the weather in Pittsburgh over the weather in Malibu.

Yeah you'd like him since he bashed our HC & staff regularly.
He was on here a lot. He was a bit overboard with the bashing when they lost, but he heaped credit on them when they won.

He could be a tad bit extreme with his views on coaches, imo. He was ready to throw Hubert Davis to the sharks early on at UNC. I hope his current admin is a little more patient with his Pepperdine posse, because that seems like it's a pretty tough gig.

Exactly. I hate the heat. Give me snow and 30 degree weather 12 months a year. Once it gets over 65 I get cranky.
my older brother lived out in cali for decades. i'd visit him in huntington beach, pretty cool area. he moved inland, about an hour, valencia i think, i visited him on a labor day and it was 117 degrees. i was swimming, got out of pool and my suit was dry before i got to my towel..

i'd rather freeze to death than spend another minute in that climate.. dry heat aint bad my ass, heat is heat..

I guess it’s a matter of perspective but I wouldn’t remotely call 75 ‘heat’, pretty close to an optimal comfort temperature.

OK but its never really hot-hot in Malibu. Right along the coast there in SoCal is always like 70-75. Once you go inland, it can get very hot but Malibu or any of those beach towns have like the best climate you could ask for. Never cold. Never really that hot. The best comp is like Pittsburgh in May.

Did you miss the part where I said that’s too hot? And that I wanted 12 months of snow?

Bballinsider is still lurking on here which is kinda pathetic. Smh 😂

Didn’t he say he’d have more NIL there than our staff has at Pitt? Sounds like he and his posse are gonna make Pepperdine the next Gonzaga.

Malibu has a mild climate and doesn’t average over 71 degrees, even in the summer. The only heat would be from the wild fires to the north of Malibu in the mountains.

Are you heavy? Some consider the 70’s chilly.
Lol. Currently yes. But even when I wasn’t I absolutely hated the heat. My mom’s side of the family just doesn’t handle heat well and they’re all tall skinny people.

Snow’s more fun. And you can always put on more layers. Nothing is worse than sweating.

Little known fact…the thermostat is the #1 cause for marital quarrels.

And my wife and I fight all the time over the temperature in the house. She likes it cold and I don’t. And she says to me all the time that I can put layers on but she can’t take layers off. It’s so frustrating.

Someone should start a dating site where your thermostat preference is the primary data point for a match. Free idea for someone out there!

Yea, I live here. Best temps of anyplace - between 60 and 75 90 percent of the time but gloomy beyond description. I don’t mind it but it drives my wife nuts.
