actually it was a catch, the more flagrant bad call was the punt ruled down inside the Pitt one yard line, with the Tech player standing on the goal line with the ball on top of his helmet. Reviewed AND UPHELD as well. Blatant b.s.

Last time I saw something like this was the refs trying to hand the game to WVU during the 13-9 game. This isnt as bad or suspicious but it's still awful.

My guess is that they didn't have a good camera angle to overturn it, but logically there is no way that ball didn't break the plane of the goal line.

If you are in the end zone, don't you have to reestablish yourself on the field before you touch the ball? The player never left the end zone. I didn't get that one at all. It was reviewed and the announcers agreed? Wtf?

The announcers agree w/ nearly every call. How about the time the WR grabbed Webb's shirt and the the color commentary guy said good non call.
Who is this color guy btw? He basically says "Wow that was awesome" after every play.

That's the NFL rule. In college the only thing that matters is where the ball is. If the ball breaks the plane it is a touchback. If the ball does not break the plane it is down where the ball was. In the NFL that was clearly a touchback. In college it completely depends on the ball.
