If the following teams finish 10-8, then we get the highest seed. Records within the pod.
Pitt - 4-2
ND - 3-3
Clemson - 3-3
SU - 3-3
VT - 3-3
The way ND is playing right now... I want to be in the pod with them.We are actually in good shape to get the 5 or 6 seed if we beat GT. We want SU to win and ND to lose. Whatever pod we are in - we want SU in it since we are 2-0 versus them.
Since we can't get the double bye, the seed doesn't matter so much anymore. What matters is who is our opponent for the first game of the ACCT. Especially if we lose Saturday. If we win and SU wins, and ND loses, then it does not matter what VT or Clemson does. We are getting the highest seed.

Feel free to prove me wrong. What are the records within that 5 team pod? That can't be right. If we have a winning record then, by definition, someone has to have a losing record. The combined record of those games is 16-14, and it needs to be .500.

This is not the Big 12 where everyone plays each other the same amount of times. If I added wrong, then go ahead and show it. I am fairly certain we would be the highest seed out of that pod either way.I didn't add them up, but for every game that someone wins by definition someone has to lose. So the records of the teams in the mini-conference MUST add up to a .500 record. In your numbers they don't. So I can't tell you what about them is wrong, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that something MUST be wrong.
JTPF is right though.... *WITHIN* that pod, there have to be an equal number of wins and losses. This is not the Big 12 where everyone plays each other the same amount of times.

Just need to beat GT and we are in a good position. Really need SU to win as well for seeding and RPI purposes.Within that pod:
Pitt: 4-2
ND: 2-2
Clem: 2-2
Syr: 2-3
VT: 2-3
Piranha's numbers were off... but his conclusion was correct.
