The point is that Chaney is off the hook because of the way the game finished.

He's lucky Blewitt missed, otherwise Chaney would be goat #1 today.

The path of least resistance is to rip Blewitt....ignoring that Pitt couldn't convert enough plays to get in the end zone. The reality is....Blewitt essentially took away ANY kick return threat with consistent non returnables all year

Not to mention he beat GA Tech.

I said that at the time anyways. It was, you're right, an absolutely awful play call. To be honest Chaney wasn't very good yesterday. Can't really say he was awful because they were trailing the entire game, not easy. But Whitehead was in for what one play? And that was the only play call nearly as bad as the 2 pt conversion.
