He said all the coachspeak stuff last night, not sure what else you want him to do.for that steaming pile of dung he put out there last night, he should be fired immediately.
Take full and sole ownership of this, don’t mention any plays, players refs, weather, injuries, excuses etc, and say he will get it fixed.. That’s what he should do.He said all the coachspeak stuff last night, not sure what else you want him to do.

That and to stop running his mouth about lack of respect, former OCs and assistants, and all the other stupid $hit he says publicly.

Exactly....the take full responsibility stuff is "its on me"....well he doesn't play and citing actual reasons why the game went is logical. It's pointless for any coach to answer every question with "it's on me" . That's a dumb answer. He did last night.
Reasons Pitt lost
1. VeeDee's 2 fumbles
2. Dropping 5 possible Ints
3. Defensive rushing breakdowns late in the 4th
4. First half drops in the passing game
That's pretty much the whole story. Not many if any teams can will with that going on in a game.
Those are plays in the gamme that decided the game. That totally discounts pre game and in game strategic decisions. He did last night.

Cam Bright got the hell out of hereEven if we fix, well improve, the offense, this season is a lost cause because of these outside linebackers. That one I don't put on Narduzzi, because I know they're just out there doing their own thing.
But revamping a prolific offense for no other reason than because it wasn't prolific in the way he wanted it to be... Yeah, that's all Narduzzi. I realize it wouldn't be as potent without Pickett and Addison, but that doesn't mean we had to return to the Draconian ages.
He took full responsibility as he almost always does.
OC/QB = very poor, but as stated hard to overcome the turnovers & 5 missed INT opportunities. Still wish PN benched Slovis to give us a chance.
The reason we lost is because we scored 7 points until late in the 4th quarterAnd that list is absolutely correct

ever
Pitt f@cked around and found out… they didn’t take GT seriously … a team they regularly beat to hell and back… the week the coach (who hated our coach) was fired… think they didn’t A. Have motivation and B. Want to take advantage of every screw up we made?
you’d have to be lying to yourself… GT is still an ACC team with ACC recruits … not MAC not FCS…
stupid all around in this game… just plain stupid
We don’t have the luxury of waiting four more years for a QB to come in wet behind the ears at 18 and grind out a painfully slow gradual improvement over 5 years. We’ve signed on to the annual QB transfer concept, which means we have be ready with a system that can strike it hot right away. That in turn means an OC innovative enough so that a mediocre journeyman like a Nate P can step in an do great things quickly with other gibrones like George Aston and Q Henderson.I don't think other QBs would give Pitt a better chance to win.
One of the major "complaints" about Pickett before last year was being too slow to process and too quick to give up on a play. Not to mention having a weak arm etc. It's funny that everyone seems to have forgotten the process it took for him to get to 2021 Kenny Pickett.
Slovis looks slow to process and some of that is on him but he's been in this system for only a couple of games not 3 years like Pickett was.
They’ve always been paid, hundreds of thousands in scholarships at a major university. So yes, they are professionals even before the sham that is NIL. Weep not for their delicate ears having to hear boos…it’s October after all 😀 It’s still not nearly as bad as a guy who has made what is now approaching 50 million dollars from the university, to deliver nothing better than one good season with no hope for another one anytime soon. This is definitely on Narduzzi. It's his fault we weren't prepared. But it's also as much on the players. Some of them are getting paid to do this and are professional for all intents and purposes. They should be thrown under the bus for being lousy players. I wouldn't normally say that since they're just kids. But now they get paid and they have to share full responsibility for this loss as much as the coaches do.
You make it sound like it takes great players to have a great team.He always says it's on him. His words are meaningless. If he doesn't have first round draft picks at the skill positions, he can't coach. Last year, he was lucky Pickett decided to stick around for another year, Addison was here, and we had an OC with a brain. We have none of that this year and his lack of coaching ability is showing through.

Fake news other than last year the Pitt vsGa Tech games have been nail biters . Look at the games since 2013. Usually very closeAnd that list is absolutely correct

We have multiple undefeated years and your last part would be true. It’s actually the opposite, Narduzzi, nor any other Pitt coach, can recruit loads of studs. It took/takes payola to do that, before and after NIL, and Pitt thinks it’s too ivory soap / Ivy league for that. Any shady boosters (the best kind) that really lust for winning and eager to line Pickett’s to do it are not welcome and long gone.
So what it takes for Pitt is to get a really innovative coach to make chicken salad out of chicken crap. Like Canada, or the fifth year of Whip with a veteran QB. Having a boring awful old fashioned zero-innovation OC, like Cig has proven to be his entire career, is a recipe for perennial 5 win teams, empty stadiums and zero donations.
You serious Clark? That's the only way that Narduzzi has a chance to have a decent team. If he has average players, which is what we have now, he doesn't have a chance. Other coaches don't have to have great players to have a great team. They develop them and make them more than the sum of their parts. They make a great team out of whatever they have. That's not Narduzzi.
Not so sure he has the players we thought we had. But the OC thing looks pretty bad. Of course, the QB downgrade is the biggest factor. He won’t take responsibility and he blamed the players last night as expected. But he deserves the blame this year. He has the players he just made a poor OC hire it seems.
I was at 2019 it was 20-10…despite appearances it was NOT a nail biter … before that they were tighter … the point is it’s an Annual win more than not.Fake news other than last year the Pitt vsGa Tech games have been nail biters . Look at the games since 2013. Usually very close

Duzz Year 8 vs GT dude Game 1. YeaI will say that dropped pick 6 by Hallett is the kind of play you absolutely have to make at the P5 level.
Some on this board will never grasp

This is Dooz year 8, with a bunch of returning starters, a solid looking team, and reasonably high expectations. Not his first season at Pitt. This one was disgraceful. There are no excuses. There is no need for any kind of play by play analysis. This team and the coaches were not prepared and let a slam dunk win against a team they should be able to beat in their sleep turn into an unmitigated, embarrassing clown show.
It was coming, the team has not played well since the first quarter of the TN game. The D gave up in end of that game and yesterday but the offense and kicking are mostly the problem. The offense is dull and predictable, about four different plays, easy to defend. We have a poor kicker who blew the Tennessee game with missing several easy kicks and they now don’t trust him for even a basic 35 yard FG. Cignetti seems a nice guy but failed here once before as OC (with better recruits, overall) and it was a poor hire, Lyke should have known this and pressed back, forced consideration of a more dynamic OC, but Duz was at his height of popularity, so she had no leverage. We can’t afford to dump coaches right away so he’s here for a couple years at least. As far as the bad kicking, not sure where they go, go back to Scarton perhaps, but Duz seems loathe to change. When as a head coach you’re a 21 point favorite at home against a putrid opponent and you lay an egg like that, it’s on you, and nobody else.

Or even last year’s WMU loss. This one was disgraceful. There are no excuses. There is no need for any kind of play by play analysis. This team and the coaches were woefully unprepared, did nothing in-game to straighten things out, and let a slam dunk win against a team they should be able to beat in their sleep turn into an unmitigated, embarrassing clown show.
He shouldn’t have taken any questions. Just walk in there, take sole ownership of that wreck, state that everyone will be accountable starting with him, and that he would not let it happen again, and walk out.
He did say it's on me and then talked about why they lost. This isn't like a corporation when a ceo misses earnings, the public isn't able to view the game tape to see what went wrong. In football we all watched the game we saw every play, there is no pretending something didn't happen. "Dur ahhh it's on durrrr me" those are moronic answers. We all saw what happened here. You want accountability? How about we start getting that from the playersWhen as a head coach you’re a 21 point favorite at home against a putrid opponent and you lay an egg like that, it’s on you, and nobody else.

Spot on here! Big talk Pat acting like he was Saban or somebody. POS better fix this team quick....I can't go back to rooting for a 6-8 win team anymore I'm getting so close to saying F it and just watching NFL now that Pickett is probably starting. Worse thing that can happen to a fan base is to become apathetic.....I'm real close.Take full and sole ownership of this, don’t mention any plays, players refs, weather, injuries, excuses etc, and say he will get it fixed..
