Can come up with a movie about some jabroni named Vince Papale....and have Mark Wahlberg play the role in the utterly forgettable "Invincible"........

Then surely a movie about Connor's story would not only captivate interest nationwide......but I suspect that hollywood A listers would love to be part of this project. Heck....Ellen Degeneris could play herself!!

So, hollywood........Vince Papale??? Or James "The Sledgehammer" Connor?? Which story would be a greater draw at the box office?

His story has to be told.

If he comes back and has a great year, then it would be a good movie.

If he plays great and we win? Sure. If not? No one outside of Pitt will remember him.

-So James Conner is not playing in the NFL? Interesting. I think a 1st team all american acc player of the year beating cancer then making the NFL would be an awesome story.

Yea......the idea that no one will care if JC has a bad year doesnt explain the making of a movie about a true nobody named Vince Papale.

Hollywood is desperate for stories like this.

Mario doesn't have a movie. Eric Berry probably won't have a movie about him. Something special will have to happen on the field.

No, it wouldn't be a Hollywood story if he doesn't play well and our team struggles.

Hollyweird likes tragic hero's these days, or if you have super powers or wear a powered suit. He isn't dark and brooding enough either. If he tries acting, James would make a great Dothraki Khal though....

Vince Papale was a more interesting, log shot story, he had been out of football and working as a teacher, he was more of a track star in college at St. Joe's, they didn't even have a football team, he didn't even play college football, then I think he played for the WFL team in Philly, he made the Eagles as a walk on in an open tryout, other than him, nobody has probably done that in the NFL in the last 75 years.
