That wasn’t worse than ripping a quality helmet off - and hitting him in the head with his own helmet .

I agree it was awful. He could have killed him. He deserves to be suspended for the rest of season. But I also agree he won’t be.

No reason he shouldn’t be hit with an assault charge he could have killed him if he hit him in the right spot. If any of us did that we’d be in jail.

Was anyone seriously injured? No. I get that most of you guys are Steelers fans and Garrett was definitely out of line big time, but Rudolph appeared to start it. And the kicking and punching was just as bad.

Get real, a helmet is a weapon and its very, very fortunate that Rudolph wasn’t badly hurt or Garrett’s career might’ve been over.
This is the closest thing to assault in sports since Juan Marichal hit John Roseboro over the head with a bat.

I remember years ago two crappy Florida colleges were in a huge brawl on the field. Helmets were being used as weapons and some hurt player used his crutches to hit players over the head.
He should be suspended the final 6 games of this season and all of next season.
