If only Congress would pass a bill to stop the invasion

Seems like all that needed to be done was enforce existing laws. Ya know no one is above the law
Let me ask you this - wouldn't you think that better way to handle illegal immigrants is to go harder after those who employee them? I've seen a few reports of arrests, but in comparison to the number of illegal immigrants in this country, I'd think that it would be a priority, no? Why the lack of enforcement there? I can only assume it is because it is tougher to villainize US Citizens.

I agree 100 pct. You need to eliminate all incentives to come here illegally. The reason they are not going after companies is because most Rs and their benefactors benefit from illegal immigration (ie cheap labor for big corps). So I’m totally on board with board with this

Having said that securing the border is an element as well. Hell we find other governments to build border walls and secure their border

I don't think walls are the answer in general. They are OK in some areas that are difficult to manage. But in general - they ain't working. Didn't Trump himself claim he built 500 miles of wall? How much did that help.

The way to stop illegal immigration is to have a reasonable legal immigration policy and be extremely aggressive against those who come here illegally as well as any US citizen that hires or harbors them. Period. But you need both.

Walls work and enforcing those laws at the border work as seen in the past month

Of walls don’t work why do people put up walls around buildings. Why does Israel have a wall.

Walls in and of themselves don’t solve the problem but they are an aide to helping those who are responsible for securing the border. But yeah you need to enforce all the laws Currently on the books

Just like when all those Eastern European and Italian men flooded and destroyed our great country in the late 1800 and early 1900’s. They weren’t sending for their wives once they got settled and earned enough. Nope, just coming in here to rape and steal. Damn immigrants.
They came here LEGALLY. And had to go through a rigorous process before they were admitted into the country. Ever visit Ellis island ?

Yes. And it wasn’t that rigorous. If we did today what they did at Ellis Island you’d be screaming about how lax it is.

I’ve been to the border a few times in the past few years. There is no scene like the little video (that wasn’t even in this continent) displayed. And there are plenty of women and children waiting in line hoping to gain entry. Legally.

Clearly you’ve never been to Ellis island. They had to pass a medical exam and prove they could support themselves and not live off of gibs meat. Ie tax payers

I’d add that their first act wasn’t to break the law. It’s why every one of these people today are criminals
