uh, a play on words, I get it. well done, well done. honestly, I didn't get it til I looked at schedule and saw that we were playing high point.
High Point is a lower D1, minor D1, or my biggest pet peeve, the contradictory designation of "low major." The Big South is the equivalent of the NEC. We should beat even the best lower D1 conference teams at home
HPU is a decent mid-major that generally has a good team. It plays a good OOC schedule and seems to be in the running for its conference title each year. Beautiful campus, quite pricey and the only thing it has in common with Trump U is that it's owner is also, in my opinion, a total confidence man.
They have played some very competitive games against decent teams. We may lose. Hope not - but it could happen.
I just tuned in to the game and what the hell happened to Pitt basketball that it may lose to High Point at Home? This should never happen. Maybe basketball just has so much parity now. Pitt looksthey are out of shape and slow.
They were without an 18ppg scorer and we almost did. Ouch.
