Could have a(n undersized but good) starting lineup of...

PG: Derrick Colter (Duquesne)
SG: Micah Mason (Duquesne)
SF: Rodney Pryor (RMU)
PF: Artis (Pitt) or Elijah Minnie (RMU)
C: Young (Pitt)

I know Minnie was booted from RMU, but he's too talented not to make this list.

If only we could make the "city" team for the NCAA's...then we might actually go places.

Go Pittsburgh...

That might have worked in 2009. Get rid of Jermaine Dixon, and replace him with Aaron Jackson. Jeremy Chappell can come off the bench to spell Jackson, and he can stay in the game when Levance comes out, and Jackson can run the point. That's a Final Four team, and maybe a National Champion.

I rarely watch Duquesne, but they made Sterling Smith and James Robinson look like Steph Curry and Clay Thompson. Just sayin.

Mason/ Coulter...11/25 FG: 3-9 3pt; 1-3 FT; 26 pts; 2 asst; 1 TO; 3 steals

Robinson/Smith.. 9/13 FG; 7-9 3pt; 9-9 FT; 34 pts; 10 asst; 3 TO; 2 steals

No comparison.....They'd be on the bench in this supposed game. Their performance produced the route.

Yeah, they'd be decent depth. Colter would get minutes in those games where Robinson struggles, and Mason would get spot duty. There would be games against teams that defend the perimeter poorly, where Mason would see lots of floor time, and others where he'd never get off the bench. Minnie's a knucklehead, so you can keep him. That kid Reed who left for Clemson is another story. He might have eaten into Robinson's time in a major way by now. Overall, this wouldn't be a good year for reinforcements from those 2 schools. There have been players in the recent past who would have helped Pitt, but not this year.

Um...he's been a respectful kid to the media and was a key player for RMU to make the Tourney last year. He has major upside but just lacks maturity.

He's no different than Young really when it comes to his main issue. At times, he was dominant as he nearly put up nearly a double-double in just 17 min this season.

Both of them, could use to get a reality check and start putting in more effort.

But to call him a knuckle head is a little low tho, but he did lack maturity and discipline at times.

**As to Marquice Reed, he was a heck of a player last year & should do fairly well next year at Clemson. The kid can ball.
