they better act sooner rather than later. Right now Pitt is their best chance to play together but even Pitt's roster is going to start filling up and when that happens their chance of playing together is lost. Sure, Pitt will always have a roster spot for 1 or 2 of them but their window of opportunity to play together is with Pitt and that window may close sooner than they think. So, if they truly want to play together and it doesn't happen, they only have themselves to blame.
With the possible exception of the months leading up to Wannstadt's first season, I haven't been this hopeful for Pitt football since the early 80's. So these WPIAL kids better hop on the train while they can or get the hell out of the way because with or without them I believe this program is going places. From top to bottom it appears that the proper pieces are now in place for something very special to start happening at Pitt. Only time will tell if we return to the glory years but if I was a betting man I'd throw down a few Shekels on it this time around!!
