If true - it not only dooms Pitt basketball but also provides strong evidence that Barnes is all bluster and ran a very shoddy "search" process. Search indeed - more like Seek & Destroy.
If true - it also speaks volumes about future AD decisions and direction of Pitt athletics in general.
If true - it completely eliminates all the good feelings and optimism that the hire of the new chancellor brought it and also questions his judgement in the AD hire.
If true - Pitt has not only hired somebody who on and off the court who isn't on the same universe as Coach Dixon, but cast a stench that will last decades and cost the University dearly in many aspects.
