Was the guy that interviews for the committee after the selections. How weird would that have been if Pitt was still on the Bubble at that time and he and his colleagues had to make a decision with him and the rest of his crew knowing that he was being pursued by the administration? Also had the committee not chosen Pitt in that instance, can you imagine how awkward that could've been, when trying to explain his reasoning and the down year and also JD's poor non conference schedule...Yikes! All the while he's a candidate for the job...quite a coincidence
