I think a program that goes 7 years without getting out of the first weekend of the tourney is irrelevant. Hopefully the next guy will have it turned around in 2 years.

How about a coach that doesn't make it out of the first weekend for the last 11 years, pretty irrelevant? During that time having first weekend losses to a #11 seed, a #12 seed, and two #13 seeds. A coach that averaged 8.5th place in his conference during his final 4 seasons in the SEC. Who also, for icing on the cake, goes 4-32 in conference play over his final 2 years coaching a Power 6 college basketball team.
