Imagine A TV sports network, that makes billions broadcasting MLB, all year long. Then, because they are outbid for one game, the NL Wild Card Play-Off game, snubs the game in their daily, and hourly broadcasts and reports.
The Network? ESPN
The game? Pittsburgh vs. Chicago. MLB
The network to broadcast? TBS!
Imagine A TV sports network, that makes billions broadcasting College Football. A network that is so greedy and self serving that, even their games that are on streaming services ( ESPN3) on the internet, they would black them out to preserve what little profit there might be.
ESPN.
Imagine a football conference, the ACC, that would allow a college football team ( Notre Dame) to reap the rewards, but add NO VALUE whatsoever to the equation when they win, but only when they lose in said conference play?
The team, Notre Dame.
IF Notre Dame would have beaten Clemson Saturday, you all do realize that the ACC would have taken a mugging, a beat down, a thrashing, in the Power Conference rankings, right?
Since Clemson was able to hold off ND, they preserved, single handily the ACC spot as a POWER CONFERENCE, single handily.
The bottom line?
ESPN SUCKS.
The ACC, well, SUCKS!
The ACC sucks over the ND situation, and the PITT schedule which abuses our PANTHERS and our FANS.
I keep saying that ND will be full time. I would give them two years, and then cut the umbilical cord.
And our AD should be down there in NO WHERES LAND telling the ACC you ever make a schedule like this again, well, just do not do it. take my word on it!
